Mr. West provided Construction Management and backup Inspection services for Long Beach Water Department’s Alamitos Reservoir Site Electrical Upgrades Project. The project involved electrical improvements all throughout the Alamitos reservoir site, including construction of electrical duct banks with multiple conduits, construction of electrical stanchions, reconstruction of paving and cross-gutters, and electrical paneling and wiring work. The Alamitos Reservoir site (pictured) is located on top of a tall hill/plateau within the City containing and contains 23 steel-tank reservoirs, including 2 recycled water reservoirs. The Alamitos Reservoir site receives the finished water product from LBWD's Groundwater treatment plant and holds the water temporarily prior to distribution.
